Product Details:
BERBER BEAUTIES -These ultra large Berber baskets are stunning eyecatchers for your home!
They are completely made by hand and took several months for each piece to be completed
The baskets are woven from coils of palm leaves, held together by braiding coloured wool, creating all sorts of patterns, that no matter what choice of colour, always look harmonious and pleasing to the eye.
Baskets with the less detailed patterns are said to have been woven on the plains around Marrakech.
The ones with smaller, finer patterns come from artisans in the Atlas mountains.
During Joëlle De Bruyne last purchasing trip to Marrakech, she handpicked these unusual pieces of art.

For over two decades of travels, Joëlle De Bruyne has curated a collection of handmade Berber rugs, baskets, and vibrant accessories, building trusted relationships with local artisans. Her focus is on unique, one-of-a-kind pieces, sourced directly from skilled craftsmen in Morocco.
In particular, she takes pride in her upcycled cushions and poufs, crafted from vintage Moroccan rugs and pre-loved fabrics, transforming them into sustainable homewares bursting with colour and character. These creations, handmade by her preferred maâlems in Marrakech, are perfectly imperfect, highlighting their rich history and authenticity. Due to their vintage nature, expect charming irregularities in shape, texture, and colour—these are features, not flaws.
