Les Toiles du Soleil’s beautiful Cotton Canvases are produced exclusively in France in Saint Laurent de Cerdans in the Pyrénées Orientales nestled in a green setting of the Vallespir.
The same looms as those of the past are still used to create these famous striped fabrics. Each style has a name and its own story, the artistic director Henri Quinta finding his sources of inspiration through landscapes, travels and the art world.

Please note: totes are cut in a width of 180 cm with differently placed stripes in a harmonious color palette, stripe position will vary from bag to bag

Made from Les Toiles du Soleil : Toulouges 100% cotton canvas - 300gr/m2.
This fabric is woven in France on old shuttle looms: a unique weaving process that gives it great strength (Martindale: 40,000 cycles).

Maintenance: Before the first wash, immerse the canvas in cold water for 24 hours, this will minimize the rate of shrinkage of the fabric. Machine washable at 60°C with gentle spin cycle. Do not put it in the dryer.
