Epigram collections are always part of an ecological and ethical approach.
A paper collection imagined and drawn in Paris then developed in India using traditional artisanal paper vats, with embossing and gilding done by experienced hands. Caring for know-how Epigram cultivates the handmade because nothing equals the patience and know-how of craftsmen to give a soul to a collection. Through the production of these notebooks a workshop in the heart of India has been able to rehabilitate an abandoned activity in the village and put back into activity its paper vats which had been left idle for nearly 100 years. As a direct consequence, the development and social evolution of families working here has been transformed.
Epigram rigorously ensures that no children work in the manufacture of its product, the establishment of normal working days and hours, healthy working conditions have been established along with the implementation of social measures to protect craftsmen and women and their families.
