Tin Art or “Hojalata” as it is known in Spanish is a popular form of Folk Art in Mexico. Light and easily manipulated into shapes of every size and style, the tin is stamped, punched and then decorated in a bright array of colours. It is used to make everything from Christmas decorations, plates, buckets, candlesticks and cooking utensils.
