Launched in 2020, Paolina is a shirt brand imagined by Macha Dormal, whose universe is inspired by the gaiety and carefree reminiscence of her childhood memories in Catalonia. "Paolina" for "Paulina", was the name of her grandfather's boat on which the family loved to spend many hours tinged with sunshine and lightness.

Designed in Belgium and then made in a small workshop in Spain, Paolina's elegant shirts offer an oversized one-size-fits-all model, which enhances all aspects of silhouettes. "I designed this model as a reminder of the large shirts worn at the time by my mother. She would wear them on the boat over a swimsuit then in the evening they were reinvented into a dressier mode that would take her to the bars and restaurants that surrounded the Marina.

Each woman can interpret the Paolina shirt according to the style she wants to give herself. At the opposite end of the spectrum from fast fashion, each piece is numbered and limited to a maximum of 50 pieces to preserve its rarity and uniqueness. In doing so, overproduction is also avoided; each scrap is reused and reinvented to advocate for zero waste.

The Paolina shirt is a strong aesthetic identity defined by the combination of fabrics with floral, lined or checked patterns and bright and deep colors at the same time. It's also a whole universe that Masha promises us, that of the holiday where time stands still to give way to a feeling of freedom, a solar energy that fills us with well-being.
